F-List 2026 Methodology

The F-List, now in its sixth year, is a result of open-source investigative research using public records. This includes lobbying databases, government filings, LinkedIn ads, award show databases, creative portfolios and social media posts.

This year, Clean Creatives focused on longitudinal analysis and developing comparative data to show shifts in agency and client activity over the years. For the first time, the F-List is being published as a historical database, showing every year Clean Creatives has found a contract to be active, beyond the report’s 2025-2026 scope. The report website also includes an interactive case studies database highlighting key creative work and conflicts of interest on the F-List.
