Plenitude, Eni’s retail energy subsidiary and legally designated Società Benefit (Benefit Company) in Italy, worked with TBWA Italia, EY+MC Saatchi, Rossofilm on a campaign called “Goodnight Light.” The campaign is designed to teach children to stop leaving lights on at night in the name of energy saving.
The campaign cites a 2025 study by DOXA which identifies three in four children aged three to nine are afraid of the dark and reframes that fear as an energy waste problem to be corrected through glow-in-the-dark stickers placed next to light switches.
At the same time, Eni is expanding its offshore gas developments in the Republic of the Congo, adding to its 86 billion cubic feet of gas production in the country, and facing a climate lawsuit by Greenpeace Italia and ReCommon.
